Hi I'm LaDawn Resendez

I'm a mother of four. Have lived overseas. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of four children, 2 adult children and 2 younger. I am currently working on getting my bachelor's degree in nursing. I waited until my youngest child started school to attend college. It has been a great adventure being surrounded by younger energetic individuals who love learning. My family relocated to Costa Rica and the Philippines from the US for my ex-husband's work. We had fantastic experiences meeting other children of God and experiencing their cultures & languages. I have a wonderful son serving a mission for the LDS church in New Hampshire. I am so inspired by his service, faith, and dedication.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church but the decision to be Mormon was mine. I have been blessed with a strong testimony of the truths I learned as a child. I love being LDS because it is a faith with guidelines that allow me to choose the path that is right for me. It gives the opportunity to serve others and to help others find joy in their lives. I love my Savior and feel that the least I can do is dedicate myself to serving my fellow beings.

How I live my faith

I have received many blessings by serving in different responsibilities in the church. The beauty of the Lord's Gospel is the opportunities one finds in being able to help another. In so doing I not only help a fellow being but I myself am lifted. When I moved overseas, I instantly had a support group and an opportunity to serve no matter the language.
