Hi I'm Caitlin.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Arizona girl with Persian roots. I love my culture and I love my life. I am a wife to a wonderful, hard working, intelligent and funny man whom I am ridiculously in love with. I am graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in biology. I am a home maker and look forward to being a mother someday. I love to decorate my home, bake cupcakes, clean and organize and sleep in. I believe in love. And greatest of all, I believe in Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because that is what I am meant to be. I grew up with no religious background but all the while knew that there just had to be something or someone that was greater than me, and greater than I could even imagine. Trying to read the bible by myself at a young age proved to be a difficult task. It felt as though I had always been secretly searching, questioning and wondering about the existence of a God in heaven. For most of my young life I just thought that after I died I would simply be placed in the ground by my loved ones and that would be it. It wasn't until I was in my junior year of high school that I became friends with the Mormon kids at school and my whole world changed. No longer did I have the desire to make the poor choices I had previously made in my first two years of high school. I wanted to change. I saw good and I wanted to do good. I was blessed to make friends with someone who offered to set me up with the missionaries to learn more about the gospel. I agreed, knowing that I had nothing to lose. I graduated high school in May, took the missionary discussions, turned eighteen in June and was baptized in July of 2006. Not once have I ever looked back. And I thank my Heavenly Father every day for the choices, both good and bad that I made that led me to that very choice, on that very day. A choice which later led me to meet the man of my dreams at church one Sunday and ultimately brought us together forever in the Mesa Temple in May 2010.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the little things everyday. It starts with a morning prayer as my husband and I converse with Heavenly Father. I keep a prayer in my heart at all times. I take time for thought. I think about where I came from, what my purpose is and how I can get back home to live with Heavenly Father. I try to do my best in all that is asked of me and do things that would please Heavenly Father. I try to do good in all things. I strive to think highly of others and love everyone as a child of God. I savored the time I spent teaching the youth in my ward. I spent 2 hours every Sunday with a group of six year olds that melted my heart. I live my faith by trying to follow the perfect and loving example of the savior Jesus Christ.
