Hi I'm Jackson

I love cross country, I love mountain biking, I love my family, I greatly enjoy music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jackson Shubin and I am currently a missionary in the Scotland/Ireland Mission. I love to mountain bike, I enjoy snow skiing, I enjoy playing soccer, I love hiking, running, climbing, and just about anything else involved in sports. I am also known to be spontaneous and to enjoy every moment life offers me. Above all of these activities, however, my favorite thing to do is to be with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church to parents who love to serve, who love others, who love our Heavenly Father, and who love our Savior, Jesus Christ. Seeing my parents' example as faithful members of the church helped me to develop a knowledge that this church is Christ's true church on the earth. I have prayed to know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and I have received an answer from Him that it is. I also have prayed to know that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God and that through him, Christ's true church has been restored to the earth. I have received a witness for myself that he is indeed a prophet. From an early age, being a member of this faith has made me happy. I am still active in this faith today because it continues to give me joy, it brings me closer to my family, and it enables me to feel my Savior's love. I also love being a member of this church because it enables me to learn to give of myself and to serve others. I have learned that there is no greater blessing than to be in the service of others and to help others feel of God's love for them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively attending church and by striving to always obey the commandments of the Lord. I am currently serving a mission in Scotland/Ireland and am dedicating two years of my life to teach what I know to be true. During my life, I have always tried to follow the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
