Hi I'm Denise

I love country music, Gonzaga basketball and anything Jane Austen. I love laughing and being with my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married. I have 4 children, 3 granddaughters and twin grandsons on the way. I am employed at a cancer center where I meet, greet and schedule patients. People wonder if I get depressed working with cancer patients and I tell them absolutely not...it uplifts me and I am so grateful for this opprotunity. I love to read and quilt and hang with my husband. I am just an ordinary woman.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have known that Joseph Smith truly saw God, the Eternal Father and Jesus Christ since I first heard it...it just made sense to me. My heart and soul loves living the Gospel. I feel such peace knowing who I am and who my Heavenly Father is. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. In this uncertain world I am so grateful to have a Prophet who guides me and my family. I cannot imagine living any other way.

How I live my faith

I try each day to live the best I can. I am not always successful and some nights have to pray for forgiveness and start all over again the next day. I try to read my scriptures every day and have my own personal prayers as well as praying with my husband morning and night. I try to keep a prayer in my heart each day as if I am just talking with the Lord as my day goes along. I want to help people and be a good friend to those around me. I hope that people can feel of my spirit as they interact with me. My life is not perfect but working on prayer, scripture study, and having charitable feelings for all helps me realize my blessings and keeps me grounded in what is important. I love attending church every Sunday...it is such a part of me and I have such good friends at church...some are 30 years older than me and others are very young. Some are married and other single and we just enjoy are differences. Many of my friends work outside the home and yet I have other friends who are stay at home woman. We all work where ever we are and we try to help each other out when the going gets rough.
