Hi I'm Quinton

I am a college student, and I'm going to Hungary for two years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student at BYU. I study philosophy and have hopes of going to business school to study Human Resources (at least that's the plan). I just received a mission call to serve in the Budapest Hungary mission for the Church. I wanted to be a comedy writer, and I came to realize that my path was different. I used to bum around a lot at home, and now I am trying to break out and try something new with my life. I am grateful for miracles, as I see them, that have changed my very nature.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church all my life. My parents are great examples to me, and have tried to teach all their children the best way to live that they know. I am Mormon still because my faith is a source of comfort to me in the various stresses I face in my life. I can with confidence pray to Heavenly Father and know that he hears me and will answer my prayers, even though it may not always be the answer I want to hear. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and that learning to love as he did truly can make a difference. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of the Lord, and I know that Thomas S. Monson is the Prophet on earth today. I know the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God. I hope others can benefit from my testimony and can develop their own.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, I read scripture every day, and I pray a lot. I try to share the truths that I have learned without being preachy, and that doesn't always happen. I serve in the Sunday school for a congregation of un-married adults. I visit a group of these individuals every month and try to help them as best as I can.
