Hi I'm Alex Gosch

I love the beach, Texas and California, I'm a student at Brigham Young University. I served a full time mission in Louisiana

About Me

Right now, I'm serving a full time mission in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I play tennis and racquetball, and I'm also an avid runner. Science has always been a huge interest to me because I love learning things about the world around us and how it all works.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon because I was born into the church. Both of my parents were members, and I have always grown up learning about the gospel. But, the reason I've chosen to stay and to remain an active member is because of my testimony of the Book of Mormon. It is indeed a true book, and it's teachings will always lead us closer to God. All anyone needs to do to learn for themselves is read it, and the Spirit will tell you it is true.

How I live my faith

I have the chance to teach others about the church while I have been serving my mission. I have a blast doing it because I have the chance to learn so much about the gospel and the teachings of Christ. Having the chance to teach others has helped me to come to know the foundations of the gospel much better in my life. I love to participate in our various church meetings because I always get more out of them when I pay attention and involve myself in discussions. From growing up in the Young Men's program, I also have a deep appreciation for the church's organization in helping the youth stay active in the church. The activities that we coordinated were always a lot of fun while still being spiritually uplifting. I learned to tie the gospel into many different aspects of my life that I never would have thought of on my own.
