Hi I'm Ande

I'm a mountain biker, a father of 2, husband, a software engineer, honey-do list doer, a soccer-dad, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a software engineer in Seattle. I graduated from UW (University of Washington). I served a mission for my church in the Washington D.C. North area, speaking spanish. I've been married to my wonderful wife for 18 years. We have 2 great kids, one boy, and one girl. We even have a cat named Apollo, complete with soul-patch. We enjoy traveling as a family, mountain biking, watching movies together, and the occasional nerf war. I continue to learn a lot as I take on various honey-do projects around my house.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church. Growing up, I had friends that were of other denominations, and when the topic of religion would come up, there was always some aspect of their religion that they did not agree with. I realized in my youth that I agree with *ALL* of the principles taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The more I study the scriptures and pray about the gospel, I realize repeatedly that my Heavenly Father loves me, and wants me to be happy and enjoy life, but not a the world defines it, but by living a life guided by our Heavenly Father. I know that my Savior Jesus Christ lives, and gave his life so that we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I participate in my church by visiting people with the missionaries each week. Our family also participates in community service projects for our neighbors, schools, parks in our area.
