Hi I'm Margie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sew. I also knit and crochet. I play piano and learned how to play the guitar, violin and cello when I was growing up. I am married to a wonderful man. I am a mom of 2 children. I have 6 step children and their spouses, a fiance and 10 step grandchildren. We have 6 grandpuppies and 2 grandkitties and some fish. We currently have 2 doggies to help fill our empty nest.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom was attending a number of churches, trying to find one to join. 2 Mormon Missionaries came by the house and said they had a message to share with her. She felt the spirit when they were teaching her and knew their words were true. My parents and older brothers were baptized. I was baptized when I was 8. Throughout my life, I have had times where I have had answers to my prayers that lets me know how much my Heavenly Father loves me and is there for me. I will never truly be all alone. He is always there. I can talk to him through prayer anytime I want to and He is there for me, as well as everyone else. All we have to do is ask with a sincere heart, a contrite spirit and with faith, and He will help us. I believe in Heavenly Father. I believe in his son, Jesus Christ, who paid the ultimate sacrifice for all mankind, so that we can return to live with them again. I know that through Joseph Smith, the Church was restored here upon the earth. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping with whatever I can do at that particular time. I have had a lot of different callings and each of them have helped me to develop skills and talents that I didn't have before, or helped me to improve on some things by helping and serving others. I have helped organize events. I have helped with the music by playing the piano for different meetings. I have conducted meetings, given talks and lessons. I have had opportunities to help those in need in various ways. I have served in the Family History Center and helped people to find their ancestors.
