Hi I'm Darcy. I'm an Arborist

I'm from Arizona. I own a tree service. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My wife and I have 8 children. We also enjoy playing with our 13 grandchildren. I put myself through college by trimming trees. I graduated as a Spanish teacher but gave up teaching to start a tree service because I enjoyed being outdoors. I enjoy sports, gardening and camping. I also like to keep a flock of laying hens. A favorite past time is giving pony rides to little children. They may start out afraid of the pony but by the time they are finished they are smiling and don't want to get off.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a large Mormon family but I eventually had to find out the truth for myself. Through scripture study, pondering and prayer I obtained an answer. My conviction was strenghthened when I served for 2 years as a full time Missionary for the church. As I have continued to strive to follow Christ I have found great happiness and personal growth.

How I live my faith

Our family is the center of our life. We have daily scripture study and prayer. We try to have family dinner every night. We attend worship services weekly and also have a family night of fun and instruction each Monday. These activies bring us closer and give our children a sense of belonging. I have served as a Scout Master, youth director and a quorum leader. I enjoyed teaching Sunday school for a time and have also served in administration. Each month I check on the welfare of several families and share spiritual instruction. Serving in the Church brings happiness and draws me closer to Christ
