Hi I'm Christine

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker - was a business woman, girl scout leader-but most importantly, I'm a daughter of God.

About Me

I am a mother and stepmother and grandmother and great grandmother to a total of 12 children, 28 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. I grew up in Washington state, became a convert to the church and baptized when I was 14 and left to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was a young woman. After my mission I moved to Colorado, then Utah and California. I spent 34 years in California where I raised my 5 children. Then I moved back home to Washington and met my current husband and we have been married for two years. I love people, giving service, crocheting, playing Sudoku, gardening, love fuchsias and pets. I am getting active in politics at the grass roots level to do my part to protect the constitution and our freedoms and an emergency Ham Radio operator, a visiting teacher, a compassionate service leader and secretary for the Savior of the World production (musical) to be presented March 2013 for my local church unit.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because after years of searching for the truth as I attended the meetings of many faiths, I attended a Sacrament Meeting (Worship Service) of a ward (congregation) in Everett, Washington and received a witness through the Holy Ghost that my search was over. That was fifty years ago. Through these years I experienced many challenges in my life and have been sustained and strengthened as I held onto the iron rod I had found. Through my faith I have been richly blessed and have had my testimony strengthened through additional experiences that involved personal spiritual witness through word, insight given and witness to my spirit. In spite of the troubled times we live, I know that God is watching over all things and the day is coming when all will be well with those who live and watch for Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving as called to positions in the church, teaching through faith, word and example the gospel to my family and others as I am able. I live my faith by bearing my testimony of my Savior and the divinity of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and of having a living prophet today, by living the golden rule, loving and serving mankind whenever the opportunity arises in my daily life, by keeping the commandments and doing all I can each day to live by the principles of the gospel and serve my God through faithful and righteous living. I invite you to get acquainted with us so we can share the love our Savior with one another.
