Hi I'm Lael

I play piano and viola. I am a Science Olympiad competitor. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love reading fantasy books, I love ballroom dancing, and I love classical music. I am in Science Olympiad, and have so far earned 4th place in the forensics area. I am in high school and am thankful for Father's Blessings, for they help me to be confident. My favorite thing to play on piano is Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C# minor, and wish I could play it often. I am in the top two orchestras at school, and I have earned all A's so far this year.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a little girl, I had to give a talk in my primary class. I was given the option to share my testimony, and took it. I felt the Spirit confirm to me that this Gospel was true, and decided that I would take that to be the truth. Ever since, my testimony has grown with every day that I live the gospel, and I know with a surety and a fire in my heart that this gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I strive to be the best I can be. I wear totally modest clothing and I attend church weekly. I don't swear, and avoid hanging out with people that do. I only listen to appropriate music, and avoid dances where I might hear inappropriate music. I am as happy as I ever could be, and I survive without coffee. Most importantly, I live my standards! ☺

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes! We have sacred buildings, known as temples, specifically for that purpose. In the temple, a man and a woman can be sealed together for time and all eternity by someone who has been given that special power, and when that happens, all the children that they have will be with them for time and all eternity, as well! ☺ The only catch-other than being loyal to each other and to the Lord-is that you have to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, i.e. be a Mormon! ☺ This is required because the temple is a house of God, and even LDS people have to have an interview to be able to enter.
