Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a baker, an organizer, and a wife. I like chocolate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work part time for my family's business. My dad and brothers are electricians and they pay me to do the scanning, shredding, organizing, and whatever else they can pawn off onto me. I also try to keep the business running by doing the bookkeeping. On my days off, I spend my time with my husband, who I met at college and married a few years ago. We like to watch movies and go hiking together. I also love to learn new things and start projects that I only sometimes finish... like sewing, painting, blogging, and gardening.

Why I am a Mormon

One thing that has brought me great comfort in this life has been knowing and understanding my purpose and potential. Well, maybe not knowing exactly what it is, but knowing it exists. Sometimes life is frustrating and I feel like I fall short way too often. But when I remember that I still have potential to reach and I have a Father in Heaven who believes that I can reach it, I'm able to have a bigger perspective and move forward. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have come to understand that my goal is to one day return to the Heavenly Father that sent me to this earth. He sent me here to learn and grow and experience the joy of family and life. And as I try to be more Christ-like and continue to find joy in the life I live now, I will be able to once again live with Him, as well as with my family after this life has passed.

How I live my faith

My husband and I love teaching the 7 year olds at church every Sunday. During the year our kids will turn 8 years old and have the opportunity to choose to be baptized. We have the unique opportunity to help them prepare for this and teach them the importance of following the Savior's example by being baptized.
