Hi I'm Miriam

I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah and am a graduate of Utah State University. I am a mother to 4 incredible children - three of whom joined our family through the miracle of adoption. When I'm not busy keeping up with my children or providing support for my busy husband, I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, blogging, playing games, and watching movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I know we have a loving Heavenly Father who hears and answers our prayers. I am grateful for the knowledge I have that we have a prophet here on the Earth today that communes with our Father above. I feel incredibly blessed for the temple and the ability it offers us to be sealed to our family forever. I am grateful my husband and children will be with me through the eternities - I can not imagine this life or the life hereafter without them. My testimony of the teachings of the gospel provides me peace and comfort through times of trial and sadness as well as times of joy. I am grateful for the constant the gospel is in my life, especially in the ever changing world we live in today.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith each and every day by reading the scriptures, praying to our Heavenly Father, and striving to recognize and follow the promptings of the Spirit. I also work to maintain an environment of peace and unity in our home so our children can know and recognize the spirit in their life. I have the opportunity to build friendships and serve other women in our congregation as I visit them in their homes each month. I seek after chances to serve others - whether it is providing a meal, helping with children, or just being a listening ear - I enjoy helping others. I try to share my testimony and love of the gospel in my actions and words each and every day. In no way am I perfect in all these things, but I appreciate being able to try my best each and every day and know that I have a loving Heavenly Father who will help.
