Hi I'm Catherine

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom. My daughter is serving a mission in Montana. I have been married for 10 years and sealed for eternity for 9 years. I work full time in a prison as a clerk. I enjoy reading, computer games, genealogy, spending time with my husband and occasionally sewing or crocheting.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I haven't always followed His ways. I have seen both sides of the coin, so to speak. I have lived my life without God and with God. With God in my life, I feel peace and warmth. I feel a sense of ease in my life. Everyday trials are easier and I feel happier knowing that I am following Him. Life is just easier to live when I am doing my best to be a better me. I smile more and can honestly list things in my life that I am grateful to have. I have a true happiness that feels great! I do have my down times, but they are shorter when I feel God's loving hands in my life. I know that this is the true church. I feel it, I hear its truthfulness, and I am so grateful to know who I am, where I came from, my purpose here on earth and where I am going.

How I live my faith

I am a primary teacher. I teach 9 year old boys and girls. It is a challenge for me, but when I was asked to fill this position, I couldn't say no. Heavenly Father knows what is needed in my life for me to grow. I also am a visiting teacher. I visit with sisters that are assigned to me. Its a great way to meet and befriend other sisters at church. While I am visiting with them, I learn who they are and what their needs are. If I am lucky, I am able to serve by helping them when they need me. I read my scriptures and pray daily. In my morning pray, I ask for things. In my evening pray, I give thanks for all that I have.
