Hi I'm Ann Marie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a person who is full of joy!! I love life and I'm grateful to be who I am!! I enjoy playing sports, especially softball! In the winter I love to snowboard! I love speaking Spanish! It is awesome!! I really enjoying spending time with loved ones and getting to know new people! I just think that each person is very interesting! We are all different and everyone has a story about who they are! I love to listen to those stories and to make new friends! Pretty much, I am who I am, and I am happy :) I also love cotton candy and the band Eisley! I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and strive everyday to live it! Basically, I love life and all it has to offer!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy! I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored through a prophet, Joseph Smith and that because Jesus Christ loves us He has given us HIS Gospel to lead us and guide us back to His presence. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me so much. He has blessed me with the truth in my life. I am Mormon because I have followed the Lord's true teachings in my own life and I have been so happy! Life isn't all rainbows and sunshine all of the time, but through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I always know that things will be how they should be, and that no matter what I constantly have the Savior at my side helping me through. I'm Mormon because the Spirit of God has testified to me that this is true, and that this is what I am meant to follow in my life to have the most joy possible. I know that it's true, there is no greater happiness to be found in this life than in following Jesus Christ and His true Gospel. I'm a Mormon because it's true and it brings true everlasting happiness to my life!!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by not only attending church each Sunday, but by living the Gospel teachings each and everyday. The Gospel literally is everything that I am. It gives purpose and meaning to my life and every choice I make each day. In the church I am able to go visit other ladies in their homes and visit with them about their lives. We are able to form friendships and strengthen one another. We also talk about how living the Gospel has helped us personally in our lives. There are also many activities for single adults that the church has throughout the week that I participate in to form friendships and feel close to the Savior. By living the Gospel each day I am able to stay on the path that Christ has prepared for me so that one day I will be able to make it back to live with Him and my family forever! To have that knowledge helps me choose the right and makes me truly happy!! :)

Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Ann Marie
Joseph Smith was chosen by God to restore the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Earth. He was called as a prophet. Through Jesus Christ he was able to bring back all the things that were lost from Christ's church when He died, like the Priesthood, or authority given to worthy males to act in the name of Christ on the Earth, 12 apostles were called, He was able to translate through the power of God a holy scripture comparable to the Bible called The Book of Mormon:Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith was merely an instrument in the hands of God to restore His Gospel again to the Earth for our days. So that we now have available every blessing that those in ancient times had while Christ was on the Earth. Joseph Smith was the instrument and chosen prophet acting under the direction of God, and Jesus Christ is at the head of His Church! Show more Show less
