Hi I'm Kara

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the military and lived in many places. Now I work as a nurse and have a husband and 4 great kids.

About Me

I am a daughter, a wife, and mother, a nurse, a friend, and a Mormon. I have lived in 8 states and 3 countries. I have 4 children- 3 girls and one boy. I have worked part-time as a labor and delivery RN for over 10 years. I enjoy exercising, eating out, reading, and spending time with my family. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to two active members of the church who took me to church each Sunday and taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ. I did have questions along the way, and I had to find out for myself if the church was true. I know that it is the true church of Jesus Christ. I choose to be a Mormon because I know this is God's plan of happiness, and that is what I want for my family. I feel like the values and teachings we follow as members help us to be happy. I feel it is important to teach my children, and show by example the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively participating in my church community. I currently serve as the secretary for the children's group or Primary. I enjoy getting to know each of the children. I also visit teach 3 ladies each month. I also try to get to know any new people by inviting them to dinner or play-dates with our kids around town. I also try to be helpful by sharing my nursing knowledge/skills with those in need.
