Hi I'm Jenni

I'm a happy wife, a mother of three, a music teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Music has always been a major part of my life. I feel blessed to be able to teach so many young children, including my own three children, the power of music. I love to stay active and consider my workout time my "me" time. I love to bike and swim and am trying to love to run. Summer is my favorite season and I love to be outside at dusk. My husband is my best friend and I consider myself the luckiest girl on earth to have met him. I love to be surrounded by people and I love to talk. I also consider myself to be a good listener and can keep a secret. I enjoy eating yummy food and I also love learning how to make it. I am grateful for the opportunity I have to be a wife and mother, and consider both, my most important roles here on earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a long line of Mormons, so technically that is the beginning of why I am a Mormon. However, I have always known and was taught at an early age that I needed to gain my own testimony. As I have grown, I have gained my testimony of Jesus Christ through prayer, and personal scripture study. My testimony grows each day as I live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When I was young, my testimony of Joseph Smith was strengthened and confirmed when I participated in a choir that traveled to the Sacred Grove. I had the opportunity to sing there and feel the spirit testify to me that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and sacrificed so much, even his life, to help bring the gospel of Jesus Christ back to the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good example of what I believe. I surround myself with good people and try and only put myself in uplifting situations. I stand for what I know is right and I try to be kind to others. I love my family and serve them in every way I know possible...sometimes that can be exhausting, but so worth it!! I love serving in the church, especially the youth. I learn so much from them and feel of their strength when I am around them. When asked about my faith I freely share what I believe and welcome any and all questions.

What is being a Mormon like?

I have had many non member friends comment that the Mormon church has so many rules and restrictions. They ask me if I feel tied down. I tell them that I feel just the opposite. By living my faith I feel free. By staying away from substances or activities that can become addictive I am in control of my body and my thoughts. Show more Show less
