Hi I'm Caleb

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an apprentice electrician, a camping enthusiast, I love music, I love what I do. I play 7 different musical intruments and I'm a trained fencer, (of barbed wire). I feel the most joy when I'm with my family or out serving others. I love my life and I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. I've spent all my life in wonder at the joy that knowing and living the gospel brings me. Just before I served a full-time mission I was going through some struggles in college and I had occasion to question God for the circumstances in my life. I was able to come to know him in the most real sense by studing about him, listening to him, and living what he taught me. I've decided to live my faith because I know of the difference that it makes in my life. It's a wonder to behold that in the deapest darkest pit of despair, my savior is just an arm's length away and is willing to help me if I'll let him. Life is full of pains, trials, losses... I've felt those all. But I've also felt the love of God, and his willingness to help us. I know what I live is powerful. Not only is it powerful, but it's what God would have me live. This I know, and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The Gospel of Jesus Christ can only have power in your life if you live it. I've chosen to LIVE what I beleive. I am committed to my Savior and continue to do everything I can to walk in his footsteps. I study his life and try to apply his attributes into my life. My life has truely become magical because I live the principles of Faith, Repentance, keeping my commitments, allowing the spirit of Christ to work in my life, AND I never give up. You start to see miracles as you allow God into your life. It's like this, you are a commissioner. You would like to build a life but you lack the knowledge to do it all yourself. (You may think you have it, but you don't.) In order to accomplish this task, the logical thing to do would be to find someone who knows how to build what you want, i.e. you could say a General Contractor. There's truely only one person who knows what your potential is and what you are capable of becoming. That's God. (Of course, he's like the smartest guy around.) So EMPLOY him. All he asks is that you have faith in him. Faith implies not only belief but action. As you start to work with God in your life you will see things that you wouldn't have on your own. You will learn new ways to overcome obstacles. You will learn how to be creative and happy. The genius about the whole thing is that God doesn't keep everything to himself. You can see how he does it. He will show you step by step how to build your life. At the end you will take a step back and look at something beautiful. Of course you couldn't do it on your own, but your ability to create has been unleashed. I know God is real, that he lives, that he changes lives, and that he works in my life. I know that he cares about everyone of us. He won't leave you hanging, he's just waiting for a prayer.
