Hi I'm Adam

I'm in a rockband and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the guitar in a rock band. We do our best to keep the crowd entertained. When I'm not playing the guitar, I'm usually swimming with my friends, hanging out, kicking back, and having fun. Right now I'm currently serving a mission in the Peru, Lima West Mission. When I get home I plan on becoming an engineering student, marrying the girl of my dreams, and live life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon. At first I didn't really care about being Mormon. I did it because my family expected me to do so. It wasnt until I was 14 that I gained a testimony for myself. It happened one week when i was on a Stake camping trip. We were hiking through a canyon and had to venture down water falls and up hills and through water. After swimming through a large pool of water, we approached a cliff. it was a 25 foot drop down to some dried out bed rock. I peered over the edge of the cliff and before i knew what was happening, i was falling over the edge. Down i fell for what seemed like forever, then suddenly, THUD. I hit the bottom. Intantly i was overcome with what was the worst pain i had felt thusfar in my life. At this point i thought i was going to die. I eeked forthh every ounce of effort i could to sit up and i did so. i looked up and saw all the other members of my ward peering down over the cliff at me waiting for me to show a sign that i was alright. i mustered up all the energy i could and gave a thumbs up. Two male adults who both held the priesthood got down to me as fast as they could. They layed their hands on my head and gave me a blessing and as quickly as the ain had come, it left. From there i Hiked 8 miles out of the canyon. When we got back to camp I was examined by a doctor and the doctor declared that i was virtually unharmed. From that moment on i knew the power that lies within this church, withing this gospel and with the priesthood therein. Ever since then, i have had a strong testimony of This church for i have seen the miracles that happen in it and through it. I know that it was this priesthood blessing i was given by worthy holders of it that saved my life and allowed me to be here today.

How I live my faith

I go to church every single Sunday, regardless of where i am. I have an active role in my family in keeping them involved with the church whether it be by cleaning, or just being an active participant in church.
