Hi I'm Jerry

I was bapisted in 1954 while I was in the U.S. Navy. However, I was not truly an active member until 1975 and now I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I retired from the Civil Engineering field. I grew up in farming and mining communities. However, I knew nothing about the Church until I was serving in the U.S. Navy. Later, I found out that most of my friends in my High School years were Mormon. I have been Blessed with having a wonderful wife for 52 years and special daughter.

Why I am a Mormon

Commitment has taught me that everything that we do is part of our Lord's plan. Being a Mormon has taught me this. This plan, if I stay worthly, will allow me to be with our family that are already with our Lord.

How I live my faith

I have served in several Bishopric's helping me work closely with the youth and adults in the Wards and Stake. I also served in some Stake callings.  I have gained many, many blessings from all these callings.
