Hi I'm Alissa

I'm happily married to a great guy. I have 3 precious daughters. I work nights as an NICU RN. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like rock climbing, playing volleyball, going to the beach. I enjoy almost anything outdoors. I work as a nurse for sick and premature infants. What I love most of all though is being a Mother to 3 sweet little girls. They take lots of energy, time and patience but the joy they bring me makes it all worth it. My 2 full time jobs keep my pretty busy but having a dedicated husband makes it all possible. I love my family more than anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being Mormon! This world is full of struggles; crime, sickness, abuse, depression, addiction. Being Mormon gives me hope. The gospel shows me how to live a happy fulfilling life without being weighed down by the evils of the world. I know what the most important things in life are. I know I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and is always there to bless me and help make me a better person. I know that Jesus Christ has overcome death and has made it possible for me to be with my family after this life.

How I live my faith

In the past I have been a teacher, an activity planner for young girls and an activity planner and leader for the women in the church. Right now my only "job" is to visit and be a support person for a few other women in our church group. These jobs in the church have allowed me to develop myself and have helped me make lasting friendships. Being able to go to church every Sunday strengthens me and helps me renew my faith. I feel Heavenly Father's love for me when I listen and participate in the lessons given at church. There are also activities during the week that I enjoy going to like park or swimming day with the kids, recipe exchanges, self development classes and womens' volleyball.
