Hi I'm Lindsey

I'm a mother and a dental hygienist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I studied dental hygiene in northern Arizona and sometimes work as a dental hygienist. I invest most of my time in raising our 5 children to be good members of society. I love being a mom! I also like health and wellness, and I enjoy the peace and safety that comes from living a healthy active life. My husband and I are Christian and are an active part of the community. We enjoy getting to know our neighbors and preventing crime by hosting a Neighborhood Block Watch Program. My husband volunteers as Scoutmaster for the local boy scout troop. I host community events on nutrition and food storage. I believe in Jesus Christ. I love Him as the Savior for the world and as my personal Rescuer from sin. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I can return to live with God in heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel peace in that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God gave revelation to the people in Bible times through anointed prophets and apostles. Why can't He do it again? I know that we continue to receive direct revelation from God through the anointed prophets and apostles of today. One of the coolest part of the Church is that Jesus Christ leads it, through His current prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. I feel joy in that Jesus Christ will atone for my sins, if I will repent and follow His teachings and his prophet. I gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ when I was very young. I know that Joseph Smith, like Moses of old, was an ordinary man called to be a prophet of God. Joseph Smith, through direct revelation, restored the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth today. I know the Book of Mormon is true scripture and is the word of God to his children. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ fills my mind with peace and my heart with joy. I know Jesus Christ lives and loves me.

How I live my faith

I try to live a good honest life. I choose not to drink alcohol or coffee. I choose not to smoke or use drugs. I try follow the example of the life of Jesus Christ. I enjoy sharing His light and love with my neighbors and friends. I hope to make a difference in the lives of those around me.
