Hi I'm Chris Trejo

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am one lucky 40 year old. Back in 1993-95, while serving in Columbus Ohio...I met Tricia Blegen (my wife of almost 17 years). She was also a missionary at the time. I can't imagine what my life would be like without her & our 6 kids. Always full of events that have brought us closer together. I would not want it any other way than how it has panned out for us. I look forward to the next 17. I love playing sports. I still manage to get in a good racquetball game every now & again, a round or two of golf with my brothers & friends. I get my competitive fix in with my brothers by doing a basketball & football fantasy league. Good bonding times with my family has come out of it. (brothers gotta hug...ha)! At the end of the day. I love people. I really like to be around people that care for others more than themselves. man I cant get enough of those in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was so lucky being born into a rock solid Mormon family. my mom & dad tried their absolute best to raise 7 of us. Man did we make it tough on them. They put us kids in enough good situations where we could feel the spirit of Christ. Due to those experiences...I received my own individual witness of the truth of this religion. Feeling of that still, small voice (that voice that pierces my heart like no other) has been the best experience of my life. What joy it brings to me...to see my family feel of it as well. The feeling in my heart that absolutely testifies of truth. Being Mormon is where pure happiness is achieved. It has brought out the absolute best in me & every day I have a desire to become better just like my Savior. Even if I have a bad day...I can learn from it & be a better person for it because of being a Mormon & all that entails. Being a Mormon equals an education & perspective about this life that is priceless. It is the best assurance knowing you are doing something that our immortal father & his son approves of. I love being a Mormon

How I live my faith

It is all about having a good heart & good actions. A majority of my young life my words spoke louder than my actions. However, life is a great teacher. Thru lots of "humility" lessons of being an kid, teenager, student, teammate, missionary, young husband, young father & leader...I have learned that I can do a lot of good in this life as long as I recognize in my heart my total dependance on a loving heavenly father. Once it became clear to me that I could not be successful in this life without applying good christian principles & values, loving people & serving people...that's when my actions started being more louder than my words. I have a long ways to go...to be where I need to be...but what a difference life is when you understand that its not always about you but more about what you can do for others with the help of divine assistance.
