Hi I'm Trevor

I'm a hustand, I'm a father, I'm a finance guy, I'm an outdoor enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have three boys and we spend most of our time trying to keep up with them. We want to live our lives such that our boys grow up to be men of character, faith, and good works. We do lots of activities as a family. We enjoy going camping, fishing, playing sports together, and attending sporting events -- particularly Dbacks games. Our two oldest boys learned how to fly-fish last summer.

Why I am a Mormon

The teaching of the Mormon faith help us accomplish our goals of returning to live with our Heavenly Father as well as provide us a roadmap for how to live our lives and teach our children. These teachings enable us to receive the blessings of happiness that have been promised to those who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. We live in a world of conflicting values and messages. I take great comfort in knowing how to navigate myself and my family through the confusion. The church also provides so many opportunities to serve those around us within the church and also within the community. I haven't found a better way to make yourself happier than by making others happy.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith each day and with each action I take. The fundamental steps of living my faith are through personal and family daily prayer and scripture study. These basic steps keep the gospel in my mind throughout the day and help enable me to live a more Christ centered life. I also spend several hours each week serving the youth in my area through scouting. We go on campouts and have regular meetings during the week. The point of it all is to bring these young people unto Christ and instill the Scout Oath and Law into their every day life and actions. I believe that the home is the center of a righteous life. I make extra efforts at home to ensure the well being of my wife and our three boys. It's impossible to properly live the faith I have been taught and not do my best to properly take care of my wife and for us together to raise our boys.
