Hi I'm Natalie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to one handsome man, and mom to two munchkins. I currently stay at home with my kids, but I am also a registered nurse and love the healthcare field. I love music and singing, reading, movies, eating out, and visiting with friends, and have recently taken on the role of soccer coach. I dabble in all kinds of crafts and sewing (but have yet to master any of them).

Why I am a Mormon

The church has been a part of my family for generations, and I was fortunate to grow up in a community largely made up of Mormons. My parents led by example, taking our family to church and leading us in Family Home Evening, scripture study--particularly the Book of Mormon, and family prayer. As I began doing those things on my own, I gained a testimony, independent of anyone else, that the church is true. I love that I can receive personal revelation on a continuing basis to know what I am doing is right. I have known from a very young age that I am a child of God, and everytime I say or even think those words the Spirit testifies to me with a burning in my heart that it is true. I know that Jesus is the Christ. He is my Savior, and He lives.

How I live my faith

I work with the women in my ward. I help organize service projects, teach Sunday lessons, and assist with planning and carrying out activities. I enjoy serving in this capacity because I get to know and love the women individually. I also participate as a visiting teacher. This means that a friend and I go together to visit a few women every month to be their friend, share an uplifting message, and see to any needs they might have.
