Hi I'm Elle

I am a graphic designer, mother, and terribly bad at the moon-walk. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hobbies/Interests: Graphic Design, Hiking, Biking, Photography, Decorating.

Why I am a Mormon

Every good thing comes from God. Being a Mormon provides my life with so many good things. Every life has challenges, but with the Lord as my guide the things I face each day are faced with hope, happiness, peace, and love. Being a Mormon has given me a true perspective. If we obey the commandments that the Lord has prescribed WE are the ones who receive the blessings.

How I live my faith

I use my talent as a graphic designer to help organize the monthly newsletter.

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

It is apparent from the New Testament that after Jesus established His 12 apostles that the group or Quorum of 12 was to continue from the events of Acts Chapter 1 where the 11 apostles, under the direction of Peter, choose Matthias as the new apostle to replace Judas. Paul, an author of a number of books in the New Testament, was also chosen as an apostle. Paul indicates that the church is built upon the foundation of apostles and prophets (Ephesians 2:19-20) and lists their functions to “bring us to a unity of the faith” (Ephesians 4:11-14). How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Modesty, language and chastity are all connected in that our bodies are sacred creations made in the image of God. Therefore respecting this sacred gift means reserving physical intimacy for marriage between a man and woman, covering our bodies appropriately in dress and using language about the body that is always uplifting. Parents can teach their children that when they show respect for their bodies in this way, they can qualify to have the benefits of having the Holy Ghost with them. Show more Show less
