Hi I'm Jacqueline

I'm a violin teacher, who loves the warmth of Arizona. I'm a former television anchorwoman who has 3 teenagers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college graduate in Television Broadcasting. I worked as an anchorwoman, senior reporter and a sports radio talk show host. I played college basketball and was even a beauty queen and a finalist to a Miss America. I won 3rd place in an international modeling competition in NYC and even served a mission for my church in Italy. After my mission and schooling, I found my husband. We have three children that are in their teens and go to three different schools. The two in high school attend early morning seminary, so we're up at 5:30am to get ready. I drive them every day. I'm so glad they're able to have that 45 minutes at the beginning of their day to study and learn about Christ and his teachings. That time of the day feeds them spiritually. I'm a violinist and teach many students out of my home. I make sure my own children play an instrument. I'm involved in politics and serve as board of director for some organizations.

Why I am a Mormon

I've found that the way to happiness in this life and the next is through following Christ's teachings. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God because the spirit tells me so when I read it. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he saw God the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ in a grove of trees near his home in upstate New York. I know the priesthood has been restored and is again upon the earth because I have felt its power. The spirit has testified to my soul that these things are true. I'm so thankful for the knowledge of the plan of Salvation; that we will live again after this life and be reunited with our families. What a blessing the temple is upon the earth to give us the opportunity to be sealed as an eternal family. I love my Savior and his sacrifice he made on mine and all our behalf and I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is his church here upon the earth.

How I live my faith

As a family, we read scriptures daily. We have morning and evening prayers as a family along with our individual prayers. Every Sunday we attend 3 hours of church. I work in the Stake Public Affairs. I help organize service projects on a stake level within our community for the members. I also teach two ladies in their homes on a monthly basis. Every Wednesday night, my children attend a youth meeting at the church house where my son works on obtaining his eagle scout and my daughters have activities and lessons on obtaining Christ like values. We feed the missionaries in our home on a monthly basis. We also attend the temple in Mesa, Arizona every month as a couple. My children also come and do baptisms for the dead. At Easter time, we attend the largest easter pageant in the nation which is on the Mesa Temple grounds. We love inviting some of our friends who aren't LDS to come and see the portrayal of Christ's birth, life and death. At Christmas time we love carolling and giving out treats to neighbors and friends.
