Hi I'm Paul

I'm a Mormon. My family has been a member of the LDS Church for several generations on one side of my family. find out fodr

About Me

My children are now grown up and out on their own. I keep busy helping in the many things that are available to me as a church member and a member of the community. I find serving others, as I have learned in the church, makes me a more rounded individual. I try to grow a vegatable garden for not only food for our home, but to share with others in the neighborhood and community. I have also learned that seeking help from others, helps me to grow and learn. We as a family have had many trials in our lives, but the strength of the gospel and its members makes us able to grow from them. The Lord has told us that growth of the individual comes through trials.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born in the LDS Church does not "automaticly" makes you a strong saint. One has to go through much learning and growth to gain a testimony of the Lord's Church and organization. Learning is a real key to this conversion and much prayer and suppication. Reading the Standard Works is another way to re-enforce you knowledge of the gospel and to help with your personal conversion. As one helps others to grow in the gospel, that provides help to the convert and the person helping them.

How I live my faith

I get to take callings in the LDS Church when called upon by those in authority. Through the callings such as home teacher, I and my companion are to take care of certain families we are assigned and if needed can call on others to help us. I have had my home/visiting teachers help us as a family to be able to do things I was not knowledgeable in.
