Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Jeff Nelson
Many Prophets of old have written The Book of Mormon. Lehi is the first Prophet to write in this book, and similar to the Bible, The books were handed down from Prophet to Prophet as they die. They chronicle the life and experiences of those that were commanded to build a ship and travel to the Americas. The reason it holds the title of The Book of Mormon, Near the end of it's writing, a Prophet names Mormon was commanded to compile all the many writings into one book. So for that reason, it has been named The Book of Mormon. It starts about 600 BC and goes to about 400 AD. That is approx. 1000 years of history that is a perfect companion to The Bible. How can I know Mormonism is true?

Jeff Nelson
It's really easy to know whether Mormonism is true or not. "Pray about it". here are some good ways to get started... 1. start asking questions about mormonism. 2. Begin reading The Book of Mormon. 3. Think about what you have heard and read. 4. Then just pray and ask your Heavenly Father whether it is true or not. I know that you will receive a witness of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I have done this myself and it was unmistakable. I know for a fact it is true and that means everything to me. If you have never payed before, here is a quick help for you 1. start by calling on your Heavenly Father 2. Thank him for things that are important to you (ei. Food, Family, Job, etc.) 3. Ask him (this is a great time to ask about mormonism or anything else that is on your mind) 4. End in the name of Jesus Christ, amen Your prayer might go something like this.... Dear Heavenly Father, I Thank you for my family, my Job and this opportunity to speak with you. I am wondering something, will you please let me know if This mormon church is true? I have been reading The Book of Mormon and I think is is true but I'm not sure, so please let me know for myself. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. This is how millions of people have come to this conclusion, Became converted and joined this True Church. Give it a try, what have you got to loose? Show more Show less
