Hi I'm Katee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mormon Mom and I love it. I grew up in Utah, met my husband at BYU, and married him in the Salt Lake Temple. We now have five beautiful daughters. Our home is full of love, music and emotions!! We love spending time together as a family playing games, swimming in the pool, watching old musicals on the TV and traveling. Our favorite place to travel is Grandma's house! I spend most of my time right now taking care of the home and family. I love serving in the Church. Any free time is spent in a good book.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. What a blessing that has been. I often wonder what I would say or do if I were not a member and the missionaries knocked on my door. I can only hope that I would be receptive to their message. I feel that I have always had a testimony of the church. I have always loved the gospel and wanted to learn and serve more. My testimony has been strengthened over the years through many good and some very tough experiences. I have learned to turn to the Lord, especially in the rough times. He is the only way through. I have a testimony of the Church. I have felt the Spirit so many times witness to me that it is good and true. I love the Lord and want to know Him better. I know that we have a prophet who leads us today and that we have scriptures, especially The Book of Mormon to guide us. What a blessing it is to have a testimony and to have the Holy Ghost to guide me. I pray that I can always be worthy of that gift.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the Church. I have had many callings, and have had so much personal learning and growth from each of them. The Lord knows what we (and maybe others) need when He calls us to serve. I am currently on the "Compassionate Service" committee. I look for and try to help those in my ward and community that are struggling. I love my calling, and hope that I am helping others and also being a good example and teacher to my daughters in the process.
