Hi I'm Margie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of five children. I work in a State prison, formerly as security but currently as both security and a caseload worker for the inmates. I write novels. I love nature- camping, hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

It's impossible for me to define a single moment that the light turned on, and I decided that this was the truth. I've always known, and my entire life has been one building block stacked on another, strengthening my testimony. As I read the Book of Mormon in Seminary during high school, I felt the spirit surround me, hold me. How can you define those moments? When your heart swells in your chest, and you can't figure out how it even fits there anymore. When the energy fills your whole being, and spills out, like like from a window. The warmth, the goodness. The quiet peace, and the sense of well-being. I know that God Lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that the prophet has been called of God. I know that the Priesthood is the power and authority from God to act in His name.

How I live my faith

I taught the 12-13 year olds in Sunday School for so many years, that the first ones are in college now. All of my friends and everyone I work with know I'm LDS, and I try to be an example of a good Mormon. When they have questions, I share whatever knowledge I can.
