Hi I'm Lauren

I'm a wife, a mother, a writer and a daughter of God.

About Me

I am a mother of two children, (one with special needs), a wife, a writer, a part-time student and a mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by parents who are both Mormon, but that doesn't mean I was "forced" to live the gospel. My parents instilled in me the ability to make the choices that I believed to be right. As I grew through to my teenage years and into adulthood, there came small decisions here and there when I had to decide for myself if being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and following it's teachings was what I wanted. Even though I had been taught the gospel my whole life, the decision to follow Christ and live His gospel was entirely my own. I have felt the Holy Spirit confirm to me that this is Jesus Christ's true church restored to the earth. I know it is lead by Him through a prophet, and that the only way to find true happiness and freedom is to keep the commandments. I know that God is a loving and forgiving God, that the atonement of Jesus Christ can was away our sins and lift our day-to-day burdens, whether they are physical, emotional or spiritual. We have a Savior who loves us individually and unconditionally, knows us better than we know ourselves, and is always waiting for us with open arms, even when we make mistakes.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others in whatever way I am capable of. Whether it be a meal for a new mother or by singing a song at a funeral, I do what I can to lift others and help them to feel the love of their Heavenly Father. Right now my children are young, so the majority of my time is spent in raising them to be righteous people who love and serve others.
