Hi I'm Katrina

I scrapbook and photograph. I'm a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met my fantastic husband at college, graduated in Elementary Education and taught Junior High math until we decided to have kids. Now, I'm a mother of 6 incredible kids. Yes, you read that right...6 kids and I love every minute of it! Our oldest is 8 yrs old and the youngest is 2 months so we have some crazy times around our house but it's full of giggles, hugs and lots of love. I went on a mission to Spain so I'm tri-lingual...English, Spanish, and toddler. I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, outdoor activities, spending time with my husband and playing with my kids. I love snuggles, ice-cream and sleeping in... I love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings me joy! I love the peaceful feeling I have knowing where I came from. That there is a God that knows and loves me. I am grateful that I know my purpose in life...why I'm here and how I can have peace and happiness in a world full of uncertainty, pain, and fear. I know that I can rely on the Lord to pull me through tough times. He is always there for us, all we have to do is reach out in faith. I'm so thankful that I know families can be together forever. I know that death is not the end and my beautiful family will always be mine. Being a member of the church has helped me have the answers to these questions and I have felt the truth of it in my heart.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be compassionate, honest, non-judgemental and reaching out to others. I try to follow the teachings of the Savior. I teach my children to have faith in God, to be kind, loving and a true friend to those around them. My mission to Spain taught me there is a great big world out there and so many people that just need a cheerful wave, happy smile, and help in time of need...I can provide that!

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that family is central to God's plan for all of us. In the family we support, love, encourage and help one another through the trials of life. Through the marriage of husband and wife we provide a safe, secure and happy environment for children to be born, learn and grow into productive adults. Our families are the most important relationships we can have and deserve our respect, time, and energy. We believe that the family can be together forever. That means that even after death we can still be with our loved ones in heaven. Show more Show less
