Hi I'm Darlene

I'm a Mormon. My ancestors joined the church in England in 1841 and followed the Mormon migration to Utah in 1856.

About Me

I am a grandmother, I live on a farm, I love life and feel very blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

Although being a member of the church all of my life I was converted to the doctrine when I was 18 years old. My conversion came about by studying the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine of Covenants and the Perl of Great Price. I felt the spirit of the Holy Ghost witnessing truth to me as a warm conviction deep within my heart. I knew what I had studied and was trying to live was truth. I felt loved and knew I was following God's plan. I also came to know through prayer that Jesus Christ is the Savior of this World! I am a Mormon because it is Christ's church restored to eath again. It is wonderful to know of Christ and learn how things were and are and will be.

How I live my faith

I feel the most important work I do is with our family; however, I do my best to serve others on a daily basis. I teach the 10 and 11 year old girls on Sundays and the lessons are from the New Testament this year. I pray each day, read the scriptures and I try to keep all of God's commandments. I am happy and feel God's love for everyone. I feel my testimory of Jesus Christ grows each day that I am alive. I am not perfect. I enjoy each day as it comes and when sorrow and strife interfere I know where to find peace and solace.
