Why I am a Mormon

The LDS church and it's teachings have been able to answer all of my questions pertaining to salvation. The Mormon faith is the only church that i know of that teaches the true nature of God and our need to overcome our current state. It is the only church i know that teaches what we truly can become and how to do it. It makes perfect sense to me. I have been blessed to learn I have a loving Father in Heaven and that he has a plan of happiness for me and all of his children. I feel blessed to have a knowledge of my Savior and what He has done for me. I truly "Stand all Amazed." I am grateful to live in a time when the fulness of the gospel have been restored. Having living prophets and apostles will be our greatest blessing in these last days. I think knowing that the church receives on going revelation from Christ himself and learning how to receive my own revelation through the Holy Ghost has been key in my life.

How I live my faith

I love the home teaching program of the church. When it is operating as it should it is most effective. Also, I can't think of a better way to teach us how to become more like our Savior. Though I have had several callings in the church, serving in with the Youth has to be the hardest and most rewarding. I can't think of anything more important than serving, training, and teaching our young people. I also love being part of the Rotary club in my city. It is a great way to meet more people in a common cause of service. I have made great friends and been blessed to be part of great impacts of service in lives of people in community and through the world. I feel lucky to have the health and resources to be involved in service. I hope my heart will continue to change as I serve others. I hope to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ as I assist Him in his great work.
