Hi I'm Jim.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father to 7 children. I have a degree in Network Engineering and am going to college now, again, to get a GIS certificate to enhance my job qualifications. I enjoy exercising - basketball, running, volleyball, tennis, golf and working out with weights. i enjoy being outside, especially on beautiful days, and boating on the many lakes around where we live.

Why I am a Mormon

i am a convert of 15 years now and took the lessons when my previous wife found out she had cancer. While I was taking the lessons I couldn't get the teachings out of my mind and I thought about it all the time. I was baptized about 3 months later and I am glad that I made that decision. I grew up Catholic but didn't really know much about religion or the Godhead. So many questions that I had have been answered. I have learned so much during this time and have much more to learn. Life is a blessing and being a member of the LDS church has blessed my life and my family's life so much.

How I live my faith

Since we we moved into our new ward I have been called to the Bishopric and it has been a great experience. It has enabled me to get to know the members of our new ward so much faster. It is also a blessing to be involved with our youth and to watch them grow.
