Hi I'm Courtney.

I am a wife, mother, and student. I am an Idaho girl trying to survive the Arizona heat. I love all things crafty. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for five years to the man of my dreams. We have a three year old little boy and we are so excited to be expecting a baby girl. I am currently trying to finish my bachelor's degree online while I am a full-time stay at home mom. I love to cook, scrapbook, read, and make fun decorative crafts. I love playing games and spending time with my family. I love being outdoors and especially love camping, hiking, getting away to the mountains, and going to the lake with the family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because following the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has brought me so much happiness. Sometimes life can seem overwhelming. Trying to balance the duties of being a mother, wife, housekeeper, and student can be discouraging. However, the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me peace and helps me maintain a positive perspective and remember what is truly important in life. It helps me remember that I am a daughter of God and knowing that my Heavenly Father loves me is a great reminder that I am of worth, no matter how dirty my floors may be or how many dishes are in the sink. :) When life throws curve balls, which it always does, the knowledge that I can kneel down and pray for help and guidance from my Father in Heaven is so reassuring. I love going to church each Sunday and feeling uplifted. I love that I have made so many friends at church who are so kind and willing to help whenever I am in need of a friend. Most importantly, I am a mormon because my family brings me more joy than anything in this world, and knowing that I can be with them forever brings me an indescribable happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith not only by attending church meetings every Sunday, but also by following the teachings of Jesus Christ every day and teaching them to my child through words and example. I strive to be the best wife and mother I can be and put my family first. We have familiy prayer every night before our three year old goes to bed. I visit a couple ladies from church once a month to help them know they are loved and have a friend. Each Sunday, I teach the young children at church (ages 3-11) fun, age-appropriate gospel songs so that they can learn about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father through music.
