Hi I'm Megan

I'm a wife and a health fanatic. I love spending time with family and friends and I love my Saviour. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spend my days staying active and baking healthy goodies. I work full time and have a passion for all things that have to do with psychology. I love to feed my mind by reading my scriptures, fiction, and non-fiction books. I have a passion for eating healthy, natural, and organic foods. I love yoga and exercising in general, and spending my time wisely. I have a passion for higher education and love women who educate themselves to make themselves wiser and stronger. I like to craft and make decorations for my home. Spending quality time with my husband is the most important part of my life, other than my devotion to my Lord and Savior. Music is my saving grace. I play the piano, flute, and more than anything I love to sing. I have been involved in choirs and musical groups for years and my emotions revolve around my music. Music speaks to me more than anything and I love to learn and express myself through music.

Why I am a Mormon

I haven't always been a faithful member of Christ's gospel, and in times when I have fallen away from his teachings, I was never truly happy. Living the teachings of the gospel and being a member of this church has taken my life from depression to pure joy. I spend my time trying to find ways to help others and by taking time each day to study the word of the Lord brightens me and gives me strength. The blessings I have received by following the Lord's plan, whose fullness is only seen in this true church are astounding. Comparing times when I spent my days following my own plan, to now when I spend my time following the Lord's plan, there is a clear winner on which plan is responsible for my current success and happiness. The Lord's plan never fails "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever." Isaiah 40:8.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by studying the scriptures and feeding my mind with knowledge. I keep myself active by keeping my house clean, so that I can feel closer to the Lord. I teach music to children in my ward, and since good music is a prayer unto the Lord, I commune with him as I prepare daily for this task. I pray daily and discuss spiritual matters with my husband, so that we can grow and strengthen each other. I try to live my life as Christ did, and although many times I may fail, I get back up and try again.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

This church is founded in truth and in joy. The joy that the gospel brings is abundant. In a world so full of sorrow and pain, it is wonderful to know the truths that eternal families are a reality and that I have Heavenly Parents who look after me. This church let's everyone know who they are and where they come from, which are questions that most people strive to have answered. Knowing the truths that are taught in this church brings peace and this attracts those searching for an anchor and a light in their lives. Show more Show less
