Hi I'm Nichelle Fort

I am a mother of three, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 27, a wife, and a mother to 3 beautiful children. I love to spend time with my family. I play the piano, make cakes, love to do crafts with my kids, shopping and organization, going to the temple with my husband, having girls night with my friends. I got married at 20, but before I got married and had kids I was getting my degree in photography. I love to take pictures and to capture the fun and crazy moments of my kids and families lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born into a family that was already members. I am truly grateful to my Heavenly Father that he gave me this blessing. I would be lost without this gospel. This is my whole life, I live and breath the gospel. I have seen the blessing of the Lord in my life, with my three beautiful miracles that the Lord has trusted me to take care of them and love them and teach them the truth of the gospel.

How I live my faith

First, I think it is important to understand that being a member of the LDS church is more of a way of life for me, it is more than just something I do on Sundays. I believe, that I live my faith every single day and by many of my actions... whether it be from taking a dinner to a sick neighbor, or taking a friends children for the afternoon when she has a headache, or being a listening ear to someone who needs to talk. I am lucky enough to work with the 8 and 9 year old girls in our church. They are an amazing group of girls. They are such an inspiration to me to see that they can stay strong in the church with everything that they are faced with in this world. I also have the privilege of playing the piano for the children during church. They are bearing their testimony of Christ through their singing and I love to hear that every Sunday. It strengthens my testimony every Sunday to hear them sing their little hearts out to the best of their abilities and wanting to share that with everyone around them. I also believe that I live my faith by what I do in my own home. I try to make my home a sanctuary from the world and be the soft lap that my children have to land in at the end of the day, and the quiet and tender heart that welcomes my husband in from a long days work. I try to live my Faith in a way that I can reflect the Saviors love to anyone and everyone I meet.
