Hi I'm Beth

I am a native of Colorado. Iam a mother of 5,a teacher of many. I love to camp, sing, spend time with family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom!. I love the outdoors and receive great joy from walking in the beautiful Colorado Rockies.I am also a cosmotologist, a home school mom,and a volunteer in my community.I grew up in Colorado and love this state, it is my home.I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I have had so many life changing oppurtunities because of my membership in this church.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Jesus Christ. This not something I could have always said. I grew up in home where there was no religious instruction at all. Events in my teenage years left me with questions that would make me almost a complete non believer. I struggled with why a God who was suppose to love His children let so many bad things happen. Years progressed, a friend invited me to church. It is hard to explain in words but as I sat in the chapel, I felt like I was in the right place. It just felt comfortable, like going home. I have been a member of this church for18 years now. I have answers to my questions now, I see life through different eyes now, I live my life differently now because I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he Loves me! I see blessing that went unnoticed and I receive blessings from the wonderful family I have at church. God Lives, He is the Father of our soul, scriptures give guidance and direction to our lives when we read them with the intent to learn. There is guidance this very day to the world from Jesus through His chosen speaker... President Thomas S. Monson a prophet in these days.I testify that my life is richer, fuller and I am a better person because of the Gopel of Jesus Christ. That is why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I have been given the chance to teach in many different ways as a member of the church. I currently teach a class of 6 year olds every Sunday. It is also my priviledge to visit families in our ward. Being a member helps me to also see the needs of others in my community and has given me the confidence to serve on a board to organize an annual town event.I live my faith by tryng to be a good neighbor, friend, daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and peson to those I meet. I some times fail in one area or another, but I never give up on my self or others.
