Hi I'm Chelsea

I live in Arizona where it's always sunny, I loved being a flight attendant but I love being a full time mom more. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am the director of human recourses and people services, which is a fancy way of saying, I'm a wife and full time mom of 5 really great kids. I've been married for 21 years and I love my family! I have a son on a mission for our church, twin girls that just started college and 2 younger girls still at home. I love traveling, camping, snow and water skiing and cooking. I also love learning new things. Keeping up with 5 children feels like managed chaos a lot of the time, but so rewarding as we watch our children grow and become strong and independent young adults.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 17 I wanted to know if this church was right for me. I had an opportunity to go to New York to the same place where the young Joseph Smith Jr. saw God the Father and his son Jesus Christ. I knelt in that same place and asked in prayer if these things were true. I received and answer in my mind and in my heart that these things were absolutely true. I have been blessed in my life ever since to know how to talk to my Father in Heaven and listen for answers to my questions. I'm so glad to have learned so much about repentance and forgiveness, these gospel principles have saved my life and helped me have so much gratitude for my Savior and the life he gave for each of us.

How I live my faith

I love teaching Sunday School to the youth in our congregation, it gives me an opportunity to study and teach from the scriptures every week. I also love summer girls camp, on a mountain away from cell phones, ipod's, music and TV. I have watched young women enjoy God's creations and see and hear the true beauties of this earth, they get a chance to feel close to God without the distractions of the world. I currently work with the children 2 to 11 and I love these children. What a blessing in my it is to be part of a church that allows me to develop my talents by serving others through so many different stewardships and responsibilities.
