Hi I'm Jordan

I was born and raised in Gilbert AZ, and now I am going to college at BYU-Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to college now at BYU-Idaho, and I am studying mechanical engineering. I like to play pretty much any sport, but my favorite is Basketball. I lived in Ecuador for 2 years teaching about Jesus Christ and His gospel. I am the youngest in my family. I like to play video games, and i worked at a hobby shop for 2 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first because I have prayed and asked if Joseph Smith was a true prophet and If the Book of Mormon is true. I felt the answer from my Heavenly Father, and that is how i know that it is true. I also see the many blessings that I have from following the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have seen other families and people do not keep the commandments of God and they just live their life how they want to. I notice that there is a higher level of happiness reached when we choose God's way instead of our own. So in short, I am happier because I follow the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am single right now, and there are special wards that have young single adults in them. I go to one of these wards. We have activities all the time, and I really like being a part of them. I have made many friends by going to these wards and activities. I feel included in them. Every week they have classes called Institute that I also go to in order to learn more about the scriptures and about the teachings of Jesus. Right now we are studying the writings of John. Also, there is something called Family Home Evenings that I attend. It is a night were you spend time with the family and can teach about Jesus and His teachings inside your home to your family. But, since many of the young single adults are not living at home, we get together as a ward and have our own family home evenings together. I enjoy them because there are fun activities and we learn even more about the gospel
