Hi I'm Jacqueline

I grew up in El Paso, Texas. I am native american and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of six children and eight grandchildren. I grew up in a family with special needs brother and uncles. I have a job working with special needs children at school and I love them. I love spending time with my family and playing games and watching movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was seventeen. I needed spirtual direction in my life. I was going down the wrong path when I was rescued by my wonderful husband. Who was also on the same path as me. But when we decided that we were going to have a family we felt the need for religion. I was not attending my church regularly and so my husband ask that I take the discussions. Then I was married and shortly after that joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This has been and will always be the greatest blessing in my life.

How I live my faith

I work with the young women ages 14-15 years of age. They are amazing girls and I learn so much from them. I enjoy the time I get to spend with them each week as I have daughters of my own. I am a visiting teacher and I get to visit three women from our ward each month. I get to visit with a very young mother and a women about my age and an elderly women. I share a message from our prophet and check on their needs to ensure that they are doing well. And we share stories and events that happen in our lives. Its wonderful.
