Hi I'm Eldon

I'm a husband, a father, a breadwinner and I am a Mormon. I am very blessed to be alive and enjoy the Gospel in my life!

About Me

I have three boys and a girl who are all amazing to me. I work as a computer engineer. I have worked in the Boy Scouts of America for many years. I grew up loving outdoor sports like hunting, fishing, baseball. and motocross racing. I adore my lovely wife of over three decades - she is simply to good for words... Like everyone, I have overcome physical hardships, illnesses and stupidity - though the latter is an ongoing thing. I should have been dead several times in my life - motorcycle crashes, illnesses, near drownings, etc... God keeps blessing me as I continue to serve his children in my meager ways. I live to serve and despite my shortcomings and weaknesses the Lord keeps giving me the opertunities to do so... I meet amazing people on a regular basis and it humbles me greatly. All of us, as God's children, are blessed beyond what we may deserve. We need these blessings in this crazy world...

Why I am a Mormon

The Life of Christ is my example. His teachings are our road map to happiness in this life. Yes, life can be very difficult, but, the gospel of Jesus Christ can provide the strength we need to make the right decisions to overcome our trials and tribulations and keep us on the right track!

How I live my faith

I work all day long in my given profession and then spend many hours each day in service for the LDS Church. I work with the youth of the church. I work with the elderly. I work with the needy, most of which are not members of the LDS church, to help them provide for their families. I believe in God, the Eternal Father and his Son Jesus Christ. I have found that we are all an eternal family and that great enjoyment comes from serving in God's kingdom. I have found that we really don't have choices in life. We just need to do the 'right' thing 'all' of the time. God will help us determine what the 'right' thing is...
