Hi I'm Rex Richardson

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised a Mormon. I grew up in Cody, Wyoming, moving to Missouri during high school. I am Christian!

About Me

I have been married to the same wonderful woman for about 26 years now. We have one child. Our son has spent the last 4 years in the military (Army) and recently enlisted for two more years. After being unemployed for the last year just working temporary jobs my wife and I are looking into running a business for ourselves. I enjoy some yard work, gardening, reading, spending time with family. Most recent hobby is a hand gun purchase(s) and with training' quite enjoy target practice. We have lived in Arizona for 10 years after spending the prior 15 years in Utah. We still don't want to trade our hot summers for any more cold winter.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born my mother was a Mormon ( A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). My father was not (until some years later). From my earliest memories my mother took us to church. So I was born into and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My father and mother have always shown great love for my sister and I. Out of respect for them I always attended church. Of course there were time in life I questioned believes. I kind of think that everyone should question believes. During seminary in high school I did read all of the bible and Book of Mormon. It was never a quick and sudden revelation that I found my believe in the gospel principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has always been a believe of one true principle after another building a strong foundation of a believe in Jesus Christ and our personal Savior and Redeemer. That the gospel of Jesus Christ as been restored in the latter days and the our loving Heavenly Father has placed a prophet on the earth today to lead us and guide us back to his loving presence.

How I live my faith

I enjoy attending weekly services for the comforting of the feeling of the Holy Ghost, the spiritual renewing and strengthening, and fellowship with all those in attendance there. I enjoy helping out others when giving the opportunity, change a tire, give a ride, help in moving, neighborhood and community service. Mosiah 2:17 When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God. We all need a helping hand on occasion. How wonderful when the opportunities arise when we can lift another's spirit by providing service or just being a friend.
