Hi I'm Erin

I'm a last-minute weekend warrior, a mom, a mountain biker and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I find joy in last minute family camping trips, playing the piano, eating Hostess Red Zingers, raising my five kids and living my religion. I love to mountain bike with my husband. We are able to enjoy nature, have an adventure, get some exercise and strengthen our marriage through a common interest. I love to dance and if the stars, the lighting, the beat and the song align just right....i will bust a move and not stop until the music dies. I will never turn down a banana split, I have an extra long middle toe and I throw-up a little in my mouth whenever anyone suggests going bowling. My kitchen looks like a war zone about every other day. I enjoy telemark skiing, a good book and Fall weather. if there is a cold virus within 20 miles, it will find its way to me and I love living in the West.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon most importantly because it brings great and real joy into my life. I value simplicity and I believe that the teachings of Jesus Christ magnify simple truths that bring clarity and guidance into one's life. I feel that because I have tried to build a moral and clean base for how I want to live my life, it has brought me freedom, happiness and hope. I know that Christ carefully guides our lives if we simply do that which he asks of us. I feel that those things are not hard and they bring more understanding and peace into my life than anything else. I am a Mormon because I believe there is a God who answers my personal prayers and loves me and I believe that what this church teaches is absolutely true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by keeping family and faith high on my priority list, reading the teachings of Jesus Christ and attending church on Sunday. I try to deepen my personal relationship with my Savior through daily personal prayer. I teach the youth in the church and I love their humor, their liveliness and the ways that they are striving to learn and apply correct principles into their lives. There is great strength gained by watching the good example of other people who are being obedient, serving others and not afraid to stand up for what they believe. I try to live my faith because I know, through so many experiences, that I am blessed for being obedient to the commandments.
