Hi I'm Julie

I'm a mom, a wife, and an essential oil educator and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom of a young family. I get a kick out of finding ways to "use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without." I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a thrift-store-searching, yard-sale-hunting, coupon-clipping shopper! I'm happiest when I'm creating something: art/sewing projects, organized spaces, friendships, or fun atmospheres. Since I was a teenager I have been intrigued with the subject of natural health alternatives. I had read more "health nut" books than a normal teenager would venture to read. This healthy obsession has become a hobby throughout the years and today I am actively involved in educating about the therapeutic uses of essential oils.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon and I will die a Mormon! I don't know what I would do without my personal belief in Jesus Christ. Because I know He is my Savior, I'm able to handle the twists and turns of life with His help. My faith in Jesus Christ has been a very gradual journey. The more I follow His teachings, the more I'm blessed and the stronger my faith in Him becomes.

How I live my faith

I participate in my church as a chorister in our ladies group. I love the inspiring lyrics in the songs we sing. I am also a Cub Scout leader, and am now convinced that 8 years old is the perfect age! The boys I teach are so excited and willing to learn something new and they say the funniest things! How do I live my faith? Well, I hope it's apparent by the way I live what I believe.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

When we are self-reliant and prepared, we are better able to help others in need. You can't give a hungry man food if your cupboards are empty! Show more Show less
