Hi I'm Joyce

I'm a Mormon. I am a convert to the Church and it has changed my life in many positive ways. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I am a Grandmother of 5 and I enjoy babysitting our Grandchildren very much. I also like to sew, knit ,crochet, and other creative projects. My husband was raised in the Church but I was converted after the birth of our first child. I have been mostly involved in the Primary since I joined and it has been a wonderful journey. I also do Geneaolgy and love the many ups and downs of researching family names.

Why I am a Mormon

My Mother-in-law sent the Missonaries to teach me the lessons. The first time they came to our home I couldn't let them in because ouor 8 month ol daughter had gotten chicken pox from our 5year old cousin. They were very nice and agreed to come back in two weeks when she was over the illness. The lessons they me were so familiar even though I had never been in an LDS Schurch or knew much about it. I love the common sense teachings of the Church and the explanations of the things of the Gospel that othr churches just called "the mysteries of God". I also love that it is a way of life that motivates the members to be better people and how to make better choices. It's not just a thing to do on Sunday when you have nothing else to do. My husbands family were good examples of how to live your failth.

How I live my faith

I live my failth everyday by helping our family whenever possible. I take a handicapped child to his class and sharing time on Sunday. I try to complete my visitng teaching on time every month and turn in my report without being asked. I also attend the quilting class once a month that was organized by the Relief Society and have even completed a baby quilt.

In whom should we have faith?

First you must have faith God,and His son, Jesus Christ. Then you must believe that you can trust Him with you whole heart and soul. Show more Show less
