Hi I'm Kevin

I live in Arizona. I make commercials. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a recent graduate, with a business degree! I'd like to own my own business one day, but right now i just do what I can to get by. My dream is to start a production company and produce a web series my brothers and i wrote. My brothers and i also run a humor website with comic strips, antic-dotes, and videos we create. My family is a big part of who I am. My wife and i have been married for one year and are still in the process of figuring each others quirks out. My wife is hearing impaired/deaf, so ive had to learn sign language to better communicate with her. It's been interesting to see how life is so different for everyone and that each individual has their own struggles, it has helped me be more grateful for what ive been given in this life and to not take things for granted. My wife has taught me how to be a better person and to see life in a new way.

Why I am a Mormon

There are so many faiths in this world! its an amazing thing to think about. How does someone choose just one and say "this is what i believe in" ? I've researched, I've read, I've prayed...God follows a pattern, always has always will. From the time this Earth was made and inhabited God has always called on certain men to receive revelation (direct contact from God) and these men are called prophets. We read about these men in the Bible; Adam, Noah, Moses, and many others. All these men prophesied of Christ and taught of his divine purpose. Christ lived, and fulfilled his mission as son of God and savior of this world. During his earthly ministry Jesus Christ established a church, with Prophets and apostles with the express purpose to receive revelation and to teach of Christ ,just as the prophets of old. If God can give revelation he can also withhold it. A short time after Christs death, the church that had been established fell into apostasy, through corruption, false information, and persecution. A period we ironically call the dark ages ensued. I know God would not leave his children abandoned! In the spring of 1820 A young boy named Joseph Smith was confused about all the churches around where he lived, wanted to know what to do and what church was right (like all of us have at some point). After reading in James, he decided to ask God for himself and knelt in prayer...That young boys prayer was answered by visitation from God our father and his son Jesus Christ. Later in life god called upon Joseph Smith to re-establish his church, giving him the gift of revelation and the call to be a Prophet to teach of Christ. This is why i'm a Mormon, because I know that God lives! I know that Christ is the savior of this world! And I know that God has called Prophets and apostles in our day, who teach of Gods plan and receive revelation from him just as he has from the beginning.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day through a good attitude and a helpful hand. I've recently had the chance to be on a committee that helped gather and send much needed hygiene supplies for disaster victims. In the Boy scouts of America i was able to be a representative of my faith in a group of young men of different beliefs and participate in service projects all across the country. Ive had the opportunity to plan activities for the youth to help increase self-esteem and build faith.
