Hi I'm Tim

I'm a Teacher and an avid animator. I like computers and pianos. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I teach animation at the University level, I enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge with others. I'm married and enjoy sharing a beautiful home with my wife. My hobbies include raquet ball, parkour, computers, and art. I enjoy making beautiful digital art pieces that focus on light and the flow of lines and materials. I'm very busy and try to find time for the little things in life like sunsets and the beautiful outdoors all around us.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, but my conversion didn't come until much later in my life. As I began to read and study the Book of Mormon more my eyes were opened to miracles all around me and I started to notice God's hand is so many things in my life. As I discoverd these blessings I felt more and more sure that the Gospel that Jesus Christ taught while he was on the earth had now returned and was being taught again in the LDS faith. I'm so thank ful that the truth of the Book of Mormon has changed my life in so many great and wonderful ways.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings every week and partaking of the sacrament. I enjoy the calling the church offer me to teach the youth of the church ages 12 and 13. They are a rambunctious group but they are all really great children and I can see so much potential in them. I do not envy them the world they are dealing with as they grow older but I do see how strong and faithful they have become as they look to their parents and leaders to direct them in truth and righeousness. I get to prepare a lesson for them every week and sometimes I think that I get more out of it than they do, but I am grateful to have the chance to be offered a glimpse into the future of our world through these amazing youth.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Tim
Temples are so beautiful and to me represent the closest to heaven that we can get here on earth. So many wonderful truths about life and the purpose of it are taught in the temple. I was married to my beautiful wife almost 10 years ago in the Mesa, AZ Temple, such a wonderful place and I look forward to visiting the Temple with my wife as often as we can and we enjoy taking our friends and family there to visit the gardens and explore the visitor's center.
